Cutteri

The Cryptoheros Cutteri is a smaller Central American cichlid originating from the Honduras.  Males max out at around 5″ (although we have only seen about 4″) and females stay much smaller (2 to 3″).  People always remark how pretty the blue eyes are on these fish and we have to agree.  We have not found these fish to be overly aggressive and we have raised other cichlids less then half their size in the same 75gallon aquarium.  These fish have been documented to be quite protective and territorial when spawning or raising their fry, so take that into consideration.
