The Eastern Happy is a beautiful Lake Malawi Cichlid often confused as a Lake Victorian Cichlid due to shape, and the black stripe running down its eye. Our males sport beautiful red around the finnage and a nice blue with yellow body sheen. Like most African Cichlid species, females tend to be quite bland and the male gets the best colors. In my experience this fish is very prolific and breeds younger and smaller than your typical Malawi fish.
