Apart from their amazing color patterns, blushing cheeks, and high orange and black coverage, our angels have been bred and raised in relatively hard, and high pH water. For perspective, our water is perfect for African Cichlids coming in at (7.8 to 8.4pH). This may not sound like a big deal but many struggling to keep these fish will attest that koi angelfish generally don’t thrive in high pH water. It took us a very long time and many strains of koi angelfish to finally land on ones hardy enough to truly thrive in our parameters. Now that we have raised these fish from birth in our water we know they will be even hardier, fulfill a niche in the hobby, and make some of the best angelfish pets available on the market today. They are a real joy to keep and have amazing personalities. If you have never kept angelfish now is the time!
Angelfish like a nice warm aquarium. We do not push temperature to speed up growth. Our angelfish tanks fluctuate between 77F and 80F.
