Also known as the Bluetail Splitfin this fish is endemic to the Mexican federal state of San Luis Potosí and part of the Río Verde fish fauna.
This fish has been a very enjoyable addition to our fish room. We love this fish for its demeanor, it always seems to show it’s appreciation for food and water changes. Hard to explain but it’s eyes seem very expressive. This fish has small amounts of fry but they are much larger than your typical livebearer.
